Diana has been campaigning in Warley, Calderdale, with local council candidate Jennifer Pearson.

The by-election for the ward, held over from May 3rd because of the death of one of the candidates, is hotly contested with no less than seven candidates standing. The by-election will now be held on 14th June.

Diana said:

"I was delighted to help Jennifer in her campaign to get re-elected onto Calderdale Borough Council. I know she works very hard on behalf of the local community and that was a comment I heard many times on the doorsteps of Warley.

"With so many candidates standing, local people cannot say they are being denied a choice and I am hoping there will be a bumper turnout on Thursday 14th June."
